#GMSH Artist Spotlight: Mack Memphis

Originally from Detroit Michigan, I started rapping when I was 11 years old, but singing at the age of seven; I am not a singer, I'm an entertainer and some. I am a hustler, a friend, a family member, a fan of Hip Hop/Rap music, and entrepreneur.

I put my first hot songs out in 1986 & 1987 in California, from San Diego to San Francisco, into Memphis, TN . In 1992 my cousins and I put out two hit cd's with 16 songs each. In 1995 I received a record deal with Frankie Gaye / June Scott / Belgium Records. My first album sold for six years, and was called "Bloodline, Dream Screams and Nightmares".

Now I am independent and riding solo, except when I'm with my family and old friends in Memphis, Tennessee .I am working with some very close friends and family members in the music business and we plan on staying independent. My objective is to rap about my life, my people, our world and life in general, and to inspire others to be the best they can. I have been there and done that, and I love the Lord for everything, from past to present.
