#GMSH Artist Spotlight: Base Auragammi


Base AuraGammi aka Base Aura is a Hip Hop artist on the rise representing Bronx and Harlem. Although recently stepping out into the forefront of his career, Base has been working at his craft for well over 10 years. Influenced by the legend Michael Jackson, and Jay Z, Base extricated that inspiration into writing and creating his own music.

It wasn’t long before the boroughs of New York caught wind to the captivating lyrics and flow of Base. To expand on that instantaneous success, he linked up with his cousin and now manager Rube Aura to launch AuraGammi Music. Under the label Base has a growing music catalog of EP’s, singles, and freestyles. His most notable singles are “Whoodie Who” featuring one of Hip Hop’s greats, Freeway, and “Downfall” which features New York’s own Tony Sunshine.

Base has a unique approach when it comes to his music and delivery. He is known for his versatility and offering listeners an original and innovative style. His fan base as well as respect from major artists continue to rise in the industry. You can hear music by Base Aura on FM and internet stations both domestically and internationally, and featured on major sites such as This Is 50, Hot97, Coast to Coast, and Desert Storm. His most celebrated performances thus far in his career have been at Webster Hall, Club Paradise, and BET Awards Weekend.
