#GMSH Artist Spotlight: Jurel Alexander

Music has always been a part of Juriel Alexander's life. As children, he and his brothers would sing and rap to an imaginary audience. He often refers back to those times singing in his Grandmother's living room.

Juriel Alexander started singing at the age of 3. The native New Yorker, spent many years singing hooks for local rap artists. He was part of a rap group for many years and at the end of 2014 decided to go solo. With the success of the release of his "Only The Beginning" mixtape in the summer of 2016, Juriel Alexander has since been in the studio working on new original material and has been blessed to work with some big times like INTRO, RIFF, JESS HILARIOUS, CLUREL HENDERSON, FRED THE GODSON, CHRIS PORTER, and many more.

Releasing his first single " Uh Huh" early 2018 and the upcoming release of his "Everybody Knows " single featuring Fred The Godson, Juriel Alexander keeps the momentum going and will debut more new music throughout this year, prepping for the debut of his highly anticipated EP "MADE IT" in 2019. He knows there is a place for him as an R&B/Hip-Hop artist because of his falsetto vocals that resonate a sound like no other, as well as the feeling he gives you from his performance, to his lyrics, to every note he hits. Juriel Alexander leaves you with a little piece of him in every song. His ultimate goal is to share this incredible gift and story with the world.
